Vagus means wanderer and reflects the tenth cranial nerve’s journey from head to lung, heart, liver, stomach, spleen, kidney, small & large intestine and bladder. The bilateral cerebellar auditory and tactile stimulation during BART psychotherapy activates the nerves and hence the feelings associated with each of these organs where relevant in either trauma resolution or peak performance.
