The middle picture is of Narrow Water Castle in Warrenpoint, Co Down, Northern Ireland. This was the location for the greatest loss of life of security forces in the Troubles in Northern Ireland. It is designed to illustrate how the state of calm represented by ‘Waters’ can change in seconds to the destructive states of chaotic ‘Rapids’ and numbing ‘Frozen’. This can lead clinically to the dissociative states described above.
