The system comprised a mutual network via a healthcare center server (1). The network consisted of a nurse (2), a patient (3), and a physician (4). The healthcare center mainly functioned to house the database. Continued treatment and nursing care were implemented by an on-demand webcam, telephone guidance, and health consultations via e-mail. The system provided health information, support for individual health management that included regular health checks and guidance, support for self-management through personalized web-based medical records, and identification of patients needing direct care support. figure 1
